This recruitment offers 280 apprentice positions for Fitter, Electrician, COPA, and Welder ITI jobs across West Bengal and Jharkhand. Candidates with ITI qualifications and a minimum of 40% marks can apply through the Speed Post application apprentice jobs process from 13th August to 26th September 2025. To be eligible, applicants must complete their NAPS portal apprentice registration before applying. The Eastern Coalfields Apprentice 2025 selection will be based purely on merit, considering ITI marks. In case of a tie, preference will be given based on passing year, age, and date of NAPS registration. Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹7,700 (Fitter, Electrician) and ₹7,000 (COPA, Welder).

📚 Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have an ITI qualification in Fitter, Electrician, COPA, or Welder with at least 40% marks.
• NAPS portal apprentice registration is mandatory before applying.
• Mobile number on e-Aadhaar must match the one used on NAPS.
• Candidates can apply for only one trade in either West Bengal or Jharkhand. Applying in both states will lead to rejection.

1. Download and fill out the application form in the prescribed format.
2. Applications must be submitted only through Speed Post or Registered Post (no courier/hand delivery).
3. On the envelope, mention “ECL Apprentice Apply Offline 2025”.
4. Send the completed form to: General Manager, HRD, Eastern Coalfields Limited, Dishergarh, Paschim Burdwan, West Bengal – 713333
5. Ensure the application reaches on or before 26th September 2025.

💰 Compensation (Stipend)

• Fitter & Electrician: ₹7,700/month
• COPA & Welder: ₹7,000/month

📑 Required Documents (Self-Attested Copies + Originals)

• Matriculation certificate (and 8th pass certificate specifically for Welder).
• ITI passing certificate and final marksheet.
• NAPS registration copy.
• e-Aadhaar (must match NAPS mobile number).
• Aadhaar-linked bank details (as recorded in NAPS).
• Caste certificate (OBC: valid for 1 year).
• Passport-sized photograph.
• Undertaking affidavit in the format as specified in ECL’s notification.

  1. ITI passing year (earlier gets preference)
  2. Older age
